- Exploring Orthodox theology with other Orthodox scholars
- Collaborating with fellow scholars/seminary faculty (e.g. member profiles to connect members, sharing scholarship)
- Presenting at OTSA webinars and the Annual Meeting with opportunities for publication of papers
- Promoting newer scholars in the field (e.g. graduate students)
- Provide a forum/space for voices in the Academy and the Church
- Providing theological support for questions and initiatives of the Assembly of Bishops
- Working on OTSA supported initiatives that explore various aspects of Orthodox theology and life
- Continue the legacy of the founders in promoting Orthodox critical theological analysis of contemporary challenges
- Continue the dialogue between the Academy and the Church and help to bridge the gap when necessary
- Obtaining discounts to Orthodox Journals (e.g. Greek Orthodox Theological Review, St Vladimir’s Theological Quarterly, Journal of Orthodox Christian Studies, The Wheel)
- Promote and advocate for Orthodox jurisdictional cooperation and unity
- Engage with ecumenical and interfaith representatives and the Huffington Ecumenical Institute
